"The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives."
Education is not merely acquirement of facts but also of values which help us improve the different facets of mankind. It ensures that we leave the world a far better place than we found it. A pivotal role of education lies in shaping the personality of a student into a healthy mind and happy soul, who is not only equipped with 21 century skills and aptitude required for academic excellence but also face the challenges of life in a balanced and harmonious way. It offers opportunities allowing us to use our experiences and knowledge to gain respect and lead a better life in the future. It is the process through which we draw out the best from individuals so as to enable them to invest their talents and capabilities to build a better world, an ever more developed universal family of human beings, living in harmony with one another and with nature. The integral growth and fulfillment of individuals happen in the wider context of the overall development and well being of humanity and the environment. This requires an optimum advancement both in humanistic and technological studies.
Therefore, the system of Education should work as a catalyst in making each student a balanced human being having his or her core strengths embedded in the learning experiences proceeding from our rich socio-cultural roots Education should be a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations, open mindedness, a multicultural orientation, independence, a global outlook, multiple intelligences and abilities these are the premium qualmes needed today. The students should be helped to focus on confidence building, to create a Just and fraternal society, to be truthful, and to in still in them the values of truth, love, compassion and forgiveness while nurturing a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility through academic and co-curricular activities as we believe like Paul Bear Bryant, "It is not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference".
Dear students "Make use of every opportunity that you receive in your life, to be compassionate, optimistic, creative and hopeful human being. May the education you have gained from the portal of St. Joseph, help you to distinguish between right and wrong, and to judge rightly everything that you hear and see. Grow and develop into responsible citizens of our society. May God Almighty bless you to act justly, to love tenderly and to walk humbly with your God." May God bless all
With sincere and warm regards.
