Children’s Day Celebration
14th November is celebrated as the birthday of Pt. J.L Nehru the 1st P.M of India. Apart from being known for his skills as a statesman, he was also immensely found of children. That is why his birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day all the over the nation. The story also goes that he started to wear a rose on his jacket after a child pinned on it.
The school celebrated Children’s Day whole heartedly. Fete was organized to commemorate this day. The celebration started with the assembly organized by teachers and followed by the small performance by teachers for children. Dances, songs and speeches were enjoyed by all of them. Fete was organized in the school campus with all eatables at the normal price. Children enjoyed a lot. .
