TECH EXPO 2011

19TH November 2011 : The school organized Exhibition –  [ TECH EXPO ] where all the children of all the classes prepared models, charts of different subjects.  This exhibition was a thought provoking and organized to charge thinking, understanding, capacity of children as well as to inculcate a vast knowledge to carave out their future.  Mr. N.K Shahi, Principal of CHS Varanasi was the chief guest and Mr. Kaushlendra Singh (Mayor Nagar Nigam, Varanasi) was the guests of honour. They were welcomed by the Principal Sr. Theresa the Headmistress Sr. Lovely, Mother General Sr. Gracy, The Manager Sr. Meera, the Provincial Sr. Leelamma, the teachers and the students.

 

Everyone has appreciated the children’s hard work.  The children have shown their creativity and interest with respect to their specific subject in guidance of their teachers.  They have shown moral and ethical values by thoughts as fillers.  Our center of attraction was the dove on the globe which symbolizes peace and harmony in the world.  There is only one religion though there are hundred version of it.  This was shown through our center of attraction which delivers a message to live and let the people live peacefully in the world.

 

From Nursery to class II the things were exhibited as per their classes and from class II to V the things were displayed according to the subjects ie English, Maths, Hindi, Computer, Art and Craft, game and music, social studies and science zone. In English and Hindi zone the various models and charts were exhibited according to the syllabus of both the text book and the grammar book.  A novel method of presentation has been devised very much resembling the direct and pictorial methods, to make study of grammar appealing, interesting and enjoyable to the children.  I Maths zone covered all the subject matter of entire syllabus from 3rd to 6th.  The style and planning of presentation was such that involved the child and audience automatically.  Puzzles and enrichment material have been included to widen the mental horizon of sharp students and audience.  In computer zone the history and the latest development in the field of computer science and IT. One of the greatest things that man has ever invented is, perhaps the computer.  It has revolutionized the world as never before students have made the dummies of all the parts and explained its functions thereby in written form.

 

In social-studies zone more colourful and attractive layout of the globe, maps, climate, the birth of United Nations, Indian’s contribution to the United Nations, Sabarmati Ashram was exhibited innovatively.

 

In science zone aimed to develop the ability to apply the concepts learnt to real-life situations.  The interesting materials were the experiments of the Bouncing Egg, Rock and dissolve (acid rain effects), The suspenseful egg, working model of volcano, capillary force stem, working model of Kaleidoscope and Periscope, Property of light, Soil erosion, filtration.

The exhibition was one of the greatest success of the year which would be impossible without support and co-operation of students, parents, management, teachers and staff.  Success will never lower its standard to accommodate us we have to raise our standard to achieve it.

 

We pray to God our school should continue to grow & blossom and also provide with joyous experience and opportunity to organize such event
