9th PTA General Body Meeting 11th December, Sunday: 9th PTA General Body Meeting was successfully held on 11th December, 2011 in the junior school campus at 3.PM. Mr. B.R.D Gupta, was the Chief Guest on the eve. Parents attended this meeting in large numbers. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Resource Person Mr. B.R.D.Gupta, Manager Sr. Meera, Provincial Sr. Leelamma , Principal Sr. Theresa and Mr. Awadhesh PTA Executive Body Member. It was followed by a prayer song ‘Mangal Deep Jala kar’ sung by Mr. Debabrata and Jr. School teachers. The scripture reading from different religious texts provided an inner strength which is a pre-requisite when parents gather on such a forum concerned to their children. A lively Dandia performance by the girls of class VIII added colour to the show. In his address, Mr. B.R.D Gupta enlightened the audience on “Public Environment & Global Warming” He spoke on environmental issues highlighting on green house gases and global warming. He urged the audience to conserve reuse and recycle the resources order to reduce environmental hazards. In the interaction session, parents put forward their queries related to the Global Warming & Environment. They also queried about the school related issues. Sr. Meera, the Manager, Sr. Theresa, the Principal, aptly responded satiating all their doubts. The election process and voting for the new panel of the Executive Body took place in the meeting. The General and Financial Report for the year 2010-2011 was presented. The retiring executive members were honoured. On the whole the meeting was beneficial both for the students and for the parents. The program ended with ‘National Anthem’. The school provided refreshments to all present parents. . |
