Karate Championship 2011
School had participated in 4th All UP Karate Championship, it held on 3rd and 4th Dec 2011 at Samrat Ashok Public School, Budha Nagar Ganj, Sarnath, Varanasi. It was organized by All UP Karate – Do – Association.
Our children went with their Karate coach Mr. Jay Prakash and won various medals in both Kata and Kumitee. Groups were divided according to their age and weight.
In Kata Event we won one silver and one bronze in 10 to 11 years age group and one bronze in 6 to 7 years age group. In Kumitee Event children achieved 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal in 8 to 9 years group and 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal in the age group of 10 to 11 years.
The participated team were Varanasi, Allahabad, Ghazipur, Ballia, Mathura and Kanpur. The winner was Varanasi and the runner up was Allahabad. |
