Mon, 15th Aug 2011 :- This year too, as always, Independence Day was celebrated in a complete patriotic fervor. The students arrived at the school by 7.30am.  The program started with a patriotic speech by Shruti Dubey. This was followed by a beautiful song which was presented by the choir group of the junior school.  The senior school choir sung melodiously ‘Pardesi yeh bath na poocho’ Both the juniors and the seniors students tip-toed rhythmically ‘har Indian ko pahchan hai’ and ‘jeham dal-dal par’.

The Honourable chief guest, Fr. Sebastian talked about the role of the students in the process of making India better and corruption free.  The ICSE topper Shruti Rao awarded a gold coin by Durga Dwivedi in memory of her son Jitendra Dwivedi.  ICSE topper are honoured every year by her.
